[I m trying to narrate a story about how Kudram as part of the Southern Wall Guard on Farhome asks to his fellow guardsmen to help him safe his village years after he escaped from their captors as a younger boy...this is based on some of Kudrams ideas for his character(and that he may never write down)and trying to introduce basic concepts of Wyvern Clan and our Realm history/background...so I started up with a little intro]

It is not uncommon to see the trees around the Walls of Farhome to be without foliage around the Spring Equinox. It is magical the way the softer rays of the dawning Sun traverse through the empty branches of the Ceiba and Ukar Trees. The alluring sight of the Schools of medusas and giant hermit crabs prides across the bay seen from far above

But today there is something brewing around the Wall s Guard, the Southern Wall Guard…and it is not only coffee from the Yaucoba Clan Village. Our finest warriors were planning to deliver swift revenge and settle the score with some unscrupulous villains. To help a friend, a sworn brother of the Clan and fellow guardsman.
Kudram was a young man, hardened by life itself, no family but only the Farhome militia. But he was not always part of the City guard.

Four years ago a younger much more of an idealist Sergeant of the Guard found Kudram drifting through the streets of Safehaven trading post. Young Kudram was only looking for another fight and giving a mother load of troubles to the local Sheriff men. Until he met Akeron one of the Southern Wall guard, who was more than eager to help Kudram make Sheriff Duprey job a much more interesting one. See, things on the Islands long forgotten by the ancestral continent are simpler and at times more interesting.

The two young men became fast friends and with the help of Akeron found his call in life to protect the most important city of the Clan, Farhome. The mysterious city built over the ruins of a far older secession of settlements.

Farhome gave birth to the Clan of the Wyvern a tapestry of peoples, cultures, religions, clans, tribes, houses, lineages, nationalities, races all descending from the peoples of a long forgotten continent that arrived by fate or by accident to the Island.
But that of course is another story.

But Kudram had a secret plan, to become a man, a great warrior to be able to rescue his family and village, and what the militia and his new mentor had to offer were just part of it. He would exact revenge and punish his family captors. Slavery was a common business for some of the Barbarian Principalities. Akeron himself was captured once when spying on their neighbors, if not by Lacrilus the Shar’duir(Battle Druid)and his friend Ox the mountaineer swift action, he may have perished on some battleship gallows.

The Wyvern Island is part of several archipelagoes contiguous to each other far from the Southern shores of the Continent known as Eryndor. Their native inhabitants are said to come from even farther south from an unknown Continent. But they are not the only peoples that call the islands home.
Over two hundred years ago several and seemingly unrelated groups of people started an exodus to the south of Eryndor, looking for riches, land and freedom unknown on their own homelands.
Some even remember their forefather’s stories of a Prophet who inspired many out of their despair or maybe infused in them a deeper sense of purpose building a following that in few years grew into hundreds and shortly into thousands. The promises of spiritual riches as well as material ones pushed many into the unknown. For many this meant death for others it meant to take the ultimate risk, to follow the words of promise which meant to accept the unverifiable fact that south the continent , deep into unknown seas there was a promised land .Unbeknownst to the ancestors of the Clan the prophesies and oracles were all wrong.
The only real thing far south is the Storm Wall a seasonal phenomenon of cataclysmic power. For the best part of the year every year this band of sea many leagues in extension is crowded with hurricanes and worst. Probably the reason why many kept sailing south, only knowing that many left, and none came back; so maybe the Promised Land was all too real.
Few found anything else than death by salted water.
But even before the arrival of the founders of the Clan there were descendants from Eryndor populating the islands. Today the thirteen barbarian fiefdoms are the descendants of continentals, maybe stranded, maybe forsaken by their kin, but now they are a mixed people divided in thirteen principalities with their distinctive culture and laws. Some are honorable, some are not.
Piracy has become a common threat for the peoples of the Clan and their more peaceful neighbors and allies. Buccaneers and bandits from the fiefdoms keep many well defined trading routes and at the same time indulge in less honorable but even more profitable pursuits. Some of them exploit the resources of nearby islands, enslaving whoever crosses their path.
This is how Kudram s village and family as well as himself as a boy became the slave workforce for a mining operation in the neighboring island of Eylund southwest of the Wyvern Island by pirates under the liege of a petty dux only known as _________.

Eylund is a much smaller island than Kukulanotxitl; this is the given name of the Wyvern Island way before the times the first Continentals shipwrecked on it s shores and named it Lhugtoll on the sidhe tongue meaning island of the Drake. Most Eylund inhabitants do sway allegiance to the Council of Elders of the Clan being descendants of some families from the southeastern lands of the Continent that took refuged on the smaller island.
They also have good relations with the sea nomad tribes and their merg counterparts.
But Eylund is also a favorite spot for pirates from the Fiefdoms to fend off from Farhome Seaguards and Militia.
Eylund people are mainly fisherman and sugarcane farmers. For ages the islanders have trade with the sea peoples and suffered the forays of pirates, buccaneers and the Karibacs.
Natives of other islands collectively known as Karibac has held the island as a taboo place...seldomly being a threat to the natives and new inhabitants of the Wyvern Island and its surrogate islands and cays. But when at War among themselves these religious boundaries related to the fact that the Karibac totem animal is the sea drake or wyvern are commonly dismissed.
Eylund is a special place for two reasons : one is that Eylund is one of the few places known to exist on the islands to have actual Wyvern graveyards and long cove walls filled with the ancient reptiles fossils exposed and easy for anyone to look at them. This graveyards have been abandoned for dozens of generations, but there are carcasses and bones of not only the reptiles that hunted on the archipelagoes but also from all kinds of creatures from the sea like whales, from the sky like rocs and from land like the great grey sloth all fell prey to the squamous airborne predators.
Being Eylund a mountainous island on its center it is believed that the creatures still hunt and nest on its mountains peaks.
Ramesh discovered the second reason of Eylund uniqueness, the island have massive deposits of silver near their central mountain ridge. He found a crater lake where the mineral could be easily extracted and processed but he need many hands to work on it to make it happened.

But the dux of Anchorage is a cleaver bastard and one with a deceiving tongue to match his wits. When Kudram was fifteen Ramesh came to parlay with Kudram s village Caciq, also Kudram s grandfather, he offered trade and made many promises. The talks took the better half of the day, enough time for the pirates s men to position themselves make short work of the village periphery sentinels and be ready for their next move.
The villagers outnumbered the bandits but these were better armed and acted in concert hours before Dawn. Those that were not killed, were enslaved; everyone, the elderly, women, children were put in chains, branded as property of the dux s prince on their backs. The women were abused in front of their families and the children were kept on separated cages like animals as leverage, in the case the men of the village would try to escape or rebel….and as incentive for their parents to do the impossible long hours, underfed and in unsafe conditions hard work.
The women look out food for their masters and their newfound slaves.
